The founder of Friends of the White Geese, Robert La Tremouille, passed away on June 18, 2024 at the age of 81. His obituary is online here.

Bob was an impassioned fighter for the right, as he was given light to see the right. For years, he brought his singular expertise in the byzantine urban zoning code to the struggle to forestall commercial overdevelopment and unwarranted university expansion. In his retirement, his zeal for the white geese and nature's other creatures in the Cambridge riverine ecosystem was unmatched.
In Bob's memory I will keep this website online through its domain registration expiry in August, 2025. - Webmaster
